However, the tide may be turning. Following consistent pressure from Green Party members and a report by the Byline Times, a government spokesperson has indicated that the bedroom tax will now be included in the broader review of universal credit. 

This is a small but significant step forward, demonstrating the power and importance of opposition voices in holding the government accountable.

The Green Party's commitment to this cause is unwavering. Their representatives, including the two Green peers, Jenny Jones and Natalie Bennett, in the House of Lords, and the four newly elected Green MPs, are determined to continue pushing for justice for those affected by the bedroom tax.
