Telford & Wrekin Council Newsroom - Published Story Still Wrong

Following confusion caused by Labour led Telford and Wrekin Council's own "Newsroom" where they were  contradictory and uncertain if it was outline planning permission, or full planning permission, that was discussed for the Sportsfield on land between Overdale and Newdale, we made a formal request for clarrification, which while having taken time to respond, they have confirmed the newsroom incorrectly reported, and the planning discussed was full.

However, at the time of writing, the councils own Newsroom is still showing the incorrect and potentially confusing information.

Errors like this cast a shadow of doubt over the accuracy of the other articles published by the borough council.


It is understood that ward Councillor, Mark Boylan complained on social media as to the one sided reporting by the newsroom which portrayed him incorrectly.

So here at LNTF3 our small team of elves have been busy, and have dug through over 2 hours of planning meeting webcast, and we can bring you an accurate summary of the whole discussion about the long awaited sportsfield development, with the sound cleaned up, and subtitles added because the council don't add them for the deaf and hard of hearing community!👇
